Top Five Craft Supplies

Hey everyone!

Here we are yet again with this very interesting piece on the five essential craft supplies we all need to have at home. For all the creative heads out there, I am sure you must have already figured out your own must haves and for those who are waiting to know let’s not waste time and get going.

Topping my chart are paints

I absolutely love paints and most of my DIY projects do not feel complete without the touch of these colourful souls. I love to have all kinds of paints starting from spray, acrylic, watercolours to chalk paints. They are all must haves in any craft studio.

Second is popsicle sticks or wooden craft sticks

Since I am a lot into making scented candles, these wooden sticks are an absolute essential in my list of craft supplies. The crackling sound of these wood wicks while burning candles make my heart go tra lalala and give me my hygge moment. Not just that, they make for a perfect base for coasters, trays, wall hangings, baskets and the list is never ending! 😉

At number three are laces and ribbons

My dreamcatchers are never complete without these cuties. They are not just pretty but are also pretty essential for any craft box. Tie them up onto a gift box or simply add them while decorating notebooks, jars, bookmarks or even your fashion clothes. I remember having a nightdress which my grand mom got stitched for my sister and me and it had laces all over its hem and how I loved wearing it every evening (was too obsessed with that night wear so could not wait till night 😊) Ok so before I deviate from this topic and write a thesis on laces let me hop to my fourth favourite.

Standing favourite at fourth are cardboard boxes

Boxesss!!! Boxes of all sizes exude a charm of its own. A lot of DIYs demand a box as a base and also, they make the perfect carrier while parcelling gifts. The best part about boxes is that they offer two-fold benefit, first they make a perfect storage space to store craft items and later we can use them up for our crafts.

At number five stands yarns and macramé cords

We all love macramé’s and we all love everything made out of yarns and threads. A must have at every DIY’ers space, these provide us a lot of help to tie up, wind together or simply finish up an entire project with them. The best part is that they come in tons of colours to choose from and if that’s not enough then we can dye them in whatever colour we like. This is as simple as it can get.
