Diwali gift hampers have changed. The dry-fruit box and the generic sweets tin still show up, but the gifts people remember are the ones that stay in their homes long after the lights come down. A wind chime by the window, a dreamcatcher over the bed, a tote they carry every day. For more festive ideas, see our handmade gift hampers guide
That’s the idea behind a handmade Diwali gift hamper: a few pieces, chosen with care, that feel personal and last. Below are 12 hamper ideas sorted by who you’re gifting and how much you want to spend, all built from handmade pieces in our studio.
Each hamper is built around one handmade main piece in that price range; extras like chocolates, candles or a second piece are optional add-ons.
Why choose handmade gift hampers?
- It lasts. Decor and accessories stay in use all year, unlike sweets that are gone in a week.
- It feels personal. Handmade pieces carry small variations, so no two hampers are exactly alike.
- It suits every home. Boho, minimal or traditional — there’s a colour and style for each.
